Layla Shakir

Layla Shakir is an accomplished marketing and sales professional with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as a Field Marketing Specialist in the Public Sector at Confluent since September 2022, Layla has previously held roles including Cloud Account Executive and Sales Development Representative at the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as an Account Representative at Uber and working as an Advertising Sales Assistant at Discovery Inc. Notable internship experiences include positions at the Smithsonian Channel, Orano, and Areva, where Layla contributed to marketing strategies, public affairs, and relationship building with stakeholders.
