Lucia Cerchie

Lucia Cerchie is a Senior Software Engineer at Confluent since September 2022, focused on delivering high-quality developer experiences for data streaming engineers. Previously, as a Developer Advocate at Confluent, Lucia coded demos for Confluent Cloud and contributed to Apache Kafka while managing content for blogs and newsletters. Prior experience includes a Software Developer role at StepZen (2021-2022), a Software Engineering Student at Springboard (2020-2021), and a Digital Marketing Specialist role at Marketing With Lucia (2019-2020). Earlier positions include serving as a Literacy Coach and Primary Assistant Teacher at Great Hearts Academies and Maria Montessori International School, respectively. Lucia holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Thomas Aquinas College.
