Simon Overton

Simon Overton is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Financial Services Leader for EMEA at Confluent since January 2022, Simon oversees the growth strategy for the Financial Services Team while managing the UK Strategic Account Team. Prior to this, Simon held multiple director roles at SAS from August 2012 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing key accounts across various sectors, driving significant revenue for the UK and Ireland region. Previous positions at IBM, Business Objects, Parametric Technology Corporation, and LVD Strippit established a robust foundation in software sales and client management. Simon holds a BEng (Hons) in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and completed education at Solihull School.
