Varun P V is a Senior Software Engineer at Confluent since July 2021, focusing on enabling customer deployments of Confluent streaming services on private Kubernetes environments through Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK). Varun's expertise includes working with Kubernetes operators for various services such as Kafka and schema registry. Prior to this role, Varun contributed to stream governance at Confluent as a Software Engineer, where involvement included addressing schema registry issues related to authorization and cloud control planes. Varun also has experience as a Product Analyst at Capillary Technologies and as a Data Engineer with Amazon's Business Intelligence unit, enhancing package delivery efficiency through insights and tool development. Varun holds a Master of Technology in Computational and Data Science from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus.
