Vijay Narayanan

Vijay Narayanan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in solutions engineering and product management, currently serving as a Staff Solutions Engineer at Confluent since April 2023. Previously, Vijay held the position of Senior Developer Relations Advocate at Imply, where work focused on supporting open-source users in the APAC region with Druid. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Vijay has also contributed as Partner Solution Engineer at Cloudera, Solutions Engineer at Pentaho, and Senior Solutions Architect at Informatica, among other roles. Notable accomplishments include evangelizing Informatica solutions, implementing major projects in the APAC region, and managing QA teams at SunGard. Vijay holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Master of Science in Engineering from The Ohio State University.
