Eric Desbiens

Eric Desbiens has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Since 2015, they have been the President & Chief Executive Officer/Owner at CONFORMiT, a global Environmental, Health & Safety Management (EHS) solution company. In this role, they focus on strategic EHS management and the execution of EHS processes in the field. Eric helps companies of all sizes and industries manage their EHS regulatory obligations.

Additionally, Eric serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Fabtech ID and is the President & Owner of Agilité 360 Inc., a private-equity firm. Eric has extensive experience as a strategic consultant and partner at GCD Inc., a strategic consulting firm, since December 2001.

Eric is actively involved in various organizations and serves as an Administrator at Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Saguenay-Le Fjord. Eric is also a member of the advisory committee at Totem, the feel-good game, and SIR Solutions. Furthermore, Eric has contributed to Réseau Mentorat as a Mentor and serves as a Coach at INKUB Desjardins. Eric was an Administrator at Hub Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean from May 2021 to September 2022.

Eric Desbiens began their education at Polyvalente de Jonquières from 1986 to 1989. Eric then joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1989, where they completed their education until 1996. During their time in the Armed Forces, Eric did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 1995 and 1996, while still serving in the Armed Forces, they attended CEGEP de Chicoutimi, focusing on information technology.
