Anna Shabtay

Anna Shabtay currently serves as the Director of Congregational Advancement at Congregation Emanu El, a position held since July 2021, focusing on building relationships within the community. Prior roles include Chief Advancement Officer at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus, and various leadership positions at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, Memphis Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Long Beach and West Orange County, where responsibilities encompassed campaign oversight, communication management, and marketing. Anna Shabtay began a career in the nonprofit sector with internships in fundraising and event planning at the National Council of Jewish Women and the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. Education includes a Master's in Jewish Communal Service and Non-Profit Management from Hebrew Union College and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Judaic Studies from the University of Arizona.
