Daniel Salamone

Daniel Salamone holds a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, and has completed an MSc at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, followed by a PhD at the University of Massachusetts, USA. They are a full professor and Director of the Biotechnology Animal Laboratory (LabBA) at UBA, as well as a principal researcher at the National Research and Technology Council (CONICET) since 2018. With a background that includes a research fellowship in Japan and numerous international collaborations, Salamone has published over 60 refereed papers and presented at more than 111 conferences across 18 countries. They have also served as President of the International Embryo Technology Society and have directed various projects, focusing on topics such as embryo micromanipulation and assisted reproduction in wild mammals.
