Jorge Walter is the Principal Researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina. Currently serving as the Director of the Program in Human and Organizational Factors of Risk Management at Universidad de San Andrés, they have also held positions such as Director of the Center for Research on a Culture of Safety and Associate Director of the Center for Studies and Research Latin America - Europe (CERALE). Additionally, Jorge codirected the journal Análisis Organizacional at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Jorge obtained a Doctorate in Sociology of Work and Organizations from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) between 1981 and 1985.
