Juan Gowda possesses extensive experience in forestry and ecological research. Initially working as a technical translator at Invandraverket, Juan transitioned to various roles in the forestry sector, including responsibilities as a forest worker at Fiskeby AB and as a partner at Erikson Skog och Jakt, where inventory and maintenance services were provided. Subsequently, Juan served as the Argentine representative for Jaakko Pöyry Consulting before establishing a consultancy in forestry. Since 2004, Juan has also taken on fiduciary responsibilities at Puerto Manso Fideicomiso. Currently, as an adjunct researcher at CONICET, Juan focuses on landscape dynamics, particularly analyzing changes in Patagonia over the past century. Juan holds a Forestal degree and a PhD in Animal Ecology from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
