Dr. Muhammad Azmat is currently an Assistant Professor and Programme Director for the MSc Supply Chain Management at Aston University, where they also served as Deputy Programme Director for MSc Supply Chain Management and MSc Engineering Management from 2022 to 2024. They previously held various academic roles, including Project Assistant and External Lecturer at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2015 to 2018, and worked as a Project Coordinator for the World Economic Forum in 2008. Dr. Azmat has managerial experience in supply chain and operations, having served as Manager at The Vida Horizon Foods & Beverages (Pvt) Ltd. from 2010 to 2013 and as Assistant Manager at Deltex Courier Services (DCS) in 2010. They earned a Ph.D. in Transport Logistics and Supply Chain Management from WU in 2019 and have participated in leadership programs at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
