Barb S.

Barb S. serves as the Director of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chair for both CONMED Corporation and Shipwell, where Shipwell has been recognized by Forbes as one of the Next Billion Dollar Startups in 2020. With extensive experience at Caterpillar Inc. from 1990 to February 2020, Barb held several key positions including Director and CFO of the Global Information Services Division, where responsibilities involved strategic management of global IT investments and cybersecurity. Additional roles included Director of Global Component Manufacturing and Supply Chain, where Barb oversaw a significant P&L, and Director of Caterpillar Parts Distribution, which contributed substantially to corporate profitability. An advocate for operational excellence, Barb also played a vital role in leading Six Sigma initiatives and managing a global logistics technology team of 800. Barb holds an Executive Scholar degree in Strategic Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, along with an MBA and a B.S. in Accounting from Bradley University.
