Manuel Velez

Manuel Velez is an experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Director of R&D Project Management & Packaging Engineering at CONMED Corporation since July 2022. Prior to this role, Velez held various positions at Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2015 to June 2022, including Associate Director of PMO and Principal Process Scientist, focusing on project management for BioPharma technology transfer and new product introduction. Velez also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Stryker, where contributions included the successful introduction of a medical product, and has held engineering roles at Honeywell Aerospace and Metro IT Resources, among others. Velez earned an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
