Connect2Industry is a not-for-profit initiative focused on bridging the gap between education and the resources sector — with a strong emphasis on creating real, practical experience for students while they are still studying.

We connect students, graduates, and emerging professionals with industry to create meaningful career pathways. Our core focus is enabling students to access vacation work, internships, and hands-on industry exposure throughout their studies, ensuring they graduate with relevant, real-world experience — not just qualifications.

At the same time, we support organisations to engage early with future talent, building a pipeline of capable, work-ready professionals who understand industry expectations from day one.

Built on direct industry experience, Connect2Industry addresses a key challenge: the disconnect between education and practical opportunity. Too often, students complete their studies without meaningful industry exposure, while companies struggle to find candidates with applied experience.

Through industry engagement, structured pathways, and collaboration, we aim to:

* Increase access to vacation work and placements for students
* Strengthen workforce readiness before graduation
* Support career development at every stage
* Contribute to a more connected, sustainable, and future-ready industry
