Since 1948 Connect (formerly known as Scottish Parent Teacher Council) has been dedicated to the promotion of parental engagement in education. Beginning as a federation of Parent-Teacher Associations, the scope of our work has widened dramatically over nearly 80 years but we remain dedicated to improving educational outcomes for young people.

We offer training, advice and support to our membership of over 2000 Parent Councils/PTAs and other parent-run groups. We deliver online professional learning to educators in Connect Member local authorities too. Resources for our Members are available on MyConnect, the exclusive digital library of films, recordings, templates, information packs and much more. Professional learning is available here too. https://connectscot.tfaforms.net/f/myconnect
Connect is proud to host the Scottish Assembly of Parents and Carers: https://parentcarerassembly.scot/
