Aaron Portero

Aaron Portero is the current Managing Director at Connect Group. Aaron has previous experience working as a legal advisor and lawyer at various companies including Almaazmi Advocates and Legal Consultancy, Herbobar, Protein Labs Distribution, AP Law Group, and Professional Labs Nutrition. Aaron also has experience in the fitness industry, having co-founded Run and Fit in 2014.

Aaron Portero attended the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona where they obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Aaron then participated in an exchange programme at the University of Oslo (UiO), where they studied international law. Afterward, they completed a Master in Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (LLM) at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). Afterwards, they obtained a Master of European Integration (LLM) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master in Law (Abogacía) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Aaron also holds certificates from Harvard University in contract law and from the Université catholique de Louvain in international law. In addition, they are certified by the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) as a lawyer and by the Il·lustre Col·legi de l'Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB) as a practising lawyer. Finally, they are also certified as a legal consultant by The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
