Edwell Gono

Edwell Gono is an experienced IT professional currently working as an Integration Consultant at Connected Data Solutions Ltd since January 2023. Previously, Edwell held the position of Information Technology Manager at Sub Sahara Tobacco from January 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included system maintenance, application configuration, server management, and security assessments. Edwell also served as an Information Technology Officer, establishing and overseeing the IT department and infrastructure. Earlier roles included Systems Developer and Administrator at the Meteorological Services Department, handling software integration, development, and database administration, as well as Graduate IT Assistant at CARE International in Zimbabwe, providing client support and Microsoft Server administration. Edwell began a career in IT as an IT Undergraduate Trainee at Zimasco Pvt Ltd, with responsibilities in help desk support and network configuration. Edwell Gono holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) in Information Technology from Chinhoyi University of Technology, completed in 2014.
