Anthony Sumner serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Connected Data, responsible for leading growth strategies and expanding managed data service offerings since December 2021. Prior to this, Sumner accumulated over 26 years of experience at Experian, holding various leadership positions including Director of Data and Analytics and Managing Director of Analytics, where expertise in modernizing analytics operations was leveraged. Sumner also directed Experian Advisory Services and led the Background Checking division, focusing on strategic growth initiatives. Earlier roles included driving strategic tender responses and managing consulting and analytics teams, with full P&L responsibility for major projects. A Bachelor of Arts in Economics was obtained from The University of Sheffield between 1992 and 1995, following educational completion at St. Mary's RC High School in Astley, Manchester. Sumner began the career as a Statistical Officer at the Office for National Statistics shortly after graduation.
