Ken Edwards, P. Eng, has extensive experience in hardware design engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer at Connected Development, LLC since July 2019 and as an Instructor at HARC since August 2022, where Ken teaches Basic Electronics and Computer Programming at the high school level. Previous roles include Sr. Hardware Design Engineer positions at Ribbon Communications and Genband, with a focus on Cadence PCB schematic/layout in the G5 and C15 divisions, and a long tenure at Nortel as a Sr. H/W Design Engineer, contributing to the DMS-10 and CS1500 products. Ken began a career in electronics after obtaining a BSEE/BSCSC from North Carolina State University, following a high school diploma from South Stanly High School, and has also gained early experience through a summer internship at Progress Energy and working in the family business.
