We are people with Type 1 diabetes who share a vision:
To create a culture of support and engagement in diabetes self-management through peer-based experiential diabetes education, sport and outdoor adventure pursuits.

By creating a community that is motivating, supporting and inspiring individuals to take charge of their health today, we are helping to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes now and tomorrow.

What do we do?

* Unite people with Type 1 diabetes who live, or want to live healthy, active lifestyles

* Get people outside, active and engaging in physical activity – the ultimate tool for managing diabetes and reducing the risk of complications and further disease

* Provide an environment for informal experiential learning of diabetes management strategies

* Open lines of communication and create networks to encourage a free-flow of knowledge and personal experience between people living with Type 1 diabetes

* Assist people with Type 1 diabetes in gathering the tools they need to overcome the challenges they face

* Encourage and inspire people to take control of their diabetes
