Chris Drake

Chris Drake has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Most recently, they worked as a Lead Engineer at Connection since September 2020. In this role, they led a team of engineers responsible for VMware products, Dell, and Cisco infrastructure. Chris also developed technical standards, collaborated with other teams, and served as an escalation point for implementation engineers.

Prior to that, Chris worked at ConvergeOne for over nine years as a Senior Technical Consultant.

Before joining ConvergeOne, Chris had a long tenure at Freeman Health System. Chris held various roles during their time there, including Network Specialist and IT Site Coordinator. Notable achievements include supervising and upgrading VMware ESX, designing and implementing Citrix XenApp, and managing the enterprise backup infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in virtualization, infrastructure design, and project management.

Chris Drake obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Missouri Southern State University in the years 1996 to 2000. Additionally, Chris obtained various certifications from institutions such as VMware, Dell Technologies, Cisco, Amazon Web Services, Nutanix, and Microsoft. These certifications include VMware Certified Implementation Expert, Specialist in Implementation Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional Data Center, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Nutanix Platform Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching, and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
