Lorne Fernandez

Lorne Fernandez has extensive experience in operations and procurement, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Operations Support at Connection since June 2013, Lorne focuses on enhancing operational efficiencies and collaborating across various departments to address customer and performance issues. Previously, as Director of Procurement at Insight from April 2002 to April 2009, Lorne managed $3.5 billion in annual purchases, which followed a tenure as Director of Purchasing at Comark, Inc. from 1995 until its acquisition by Insight in 2002. Lorne also held roles involving IBM product management and marketing, where responsibilities included managing significant IBM purchases and liaising between sales and procurement. Earlier in the career, Lorne worked as a Sales Representative at Elek-Tek, Inc., achieving over $1.3 million in annual sales. Lorne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University.
