Gingkai Tan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Gingkai started their career in 1996 at Foxtel as a Team Leader, where they led and supported their team to achieve sales and service targets. Gingkai then joined Sirius Telecommunications in 1998 as a Contact Centre Manager, where they created and developed their first contact centre. In 2004, they founded and managed their own contact centre business called TactiCall, specializing in B2B and B2C lead generation and telemarketing.

In 2005, Gingkai joined News Corp as an Operations Manager, responsible for integrating two contact centres and implementing significant changes to drive sales and revenue targets. Gingkai then moved to CPM Australia in 2006, initially as the General Manager Contact Centres and then as the Managing Director Direct Sales, where they managed field sales, contact centre activities, and client engagement.

From 2010 to 2012, Gingkai worked as the Commercial Director at CPM Ireland, supporting the Managing Director in driving business strategy and growth. Gingkai then joined Retail Safari in 2012 as the Managing Director, leading the company's business strategy, client engagement, and financial performance. In 2013, they became the General Manager Direct Distribution at TAL Life, responsible for achieving sales objectives and managing operations.

Gingkai's most recent role is the Chief Operating Officer at Connective, Australia's leading mortgage aggregator. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager Marketing, Sales & Distribution, responsible for developing and executing the company's growth strategy.

Throughout their career, Gingkai has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive business growth, lead teams, and achieve sales objectives in various industries.

Gingkai Tan completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Australian Institute of Management from 2007 to 2010. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Advanced Negotiation Skills from Scotwork. Additionally, Gingkai Tan is currently pursuing a degree in Disruptive Innovation from Harvard Business School, which they started in 2023. They have also obtained certifications in Disruptive Innovation and Strategy: Building & Sustaining Competitive Advantage from Harvard Business School in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
