Savita Devi

Savita Devi has extensive work experience in the field of digital transformation and information technology. Savita is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Connetics, where they lead the digital change and oversees all aspects of IT for multiple locations. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director Data, Digital and Innovation (Chief Digital Officer) - Acting at Canterbury & West Coast District Health Board's, where they were responsible for developing and executing digital and ICT strategic plans. Savita has also served in various managerial and leadership roles at Canterbury District Health Board and the Department of Information Technology and Computing Services. Savita has a strong background in cloud business transformation, automation, robotics, augmented reality (AR), and machine learning (ML), which are areas of high interest to her. Savita is experienced in driving large-scale digital modernization programs and has expertise in policy enforcement and compliance. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Team Leader and Assistant Programmer at Information Technology and Computing Services.

Savita Devi obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Finance from The University of the South Pacific in 2013. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a BSc in Information Systems and Management and Public Administration at the same university. In 2000 to 2002, they attended Labasa College, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. Savita Devi has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Certified Transformational Coach from Coach Masters Academy Global in 2022 and completing a course on Microsoft Power Automate (55268) at Auldhouse in 2021.
