Tracy Evans-Tracy has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to risk management, health, safety, and environment (HSE). Tracy is currently working as the Head of Risk HSE and Assurance at Connetics. Prior to this, Tracy was the National HSE Manager at Electrix, where they led the HSE strategy and culture and managed key customer and regulator engagement. Tracy also worked at Vector Limited as the HSE Manager Networks, where they provided HSE leadership for the distribution of electricity and gas. Tracy has extensive experience in program risk and assurance management, as well as in managing contractor relationships. Tracy was previously a Managing Director at MAP Your Direction Ltd and held program manager and client manager roles at Telarc SAI Ltd. Tracy started their career as a commissioned officer at the New Zealand Defence Force, where they managed engineering maintenance and repair services. Overall, Tracy has a proven track record in implementing HSE best practices, fostering safety culture, and managing critical risks.
Tracy Evans-Tracy's education history includes a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University (2018-2019), a Master of Workplace Health and Safety from the University of Newcastle (2013-2014), and a New Zealand Certificate of Engineering (Production) with Electrical Endorsement from the Central Institute of Technology (1990-1993). Additionally, Tracy has obtained various certifications and qualifications such as Registered Principal Auditor from the International Register of Certified Auditors (1995-2014), Accredited Safety Auditor from the NZ Safety Council (prior to 2011), and training qualifications in incident management, HSNO advanced training, and advanced investigation techniques.
