Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at ConnexPay since September 2024. Prior to this role, Michael was an Investor and Advisor at Portfolio - Personal from November 2008 to September 2024, focusing on investments in the educational marketplace and various property development projects, achieving significant exits to private equity. Michael was also the Managing Partner at ParkIT Ventures LLC from March 2013 to December 2021, specializing in early-stage technology investments. In addition, Michael had a notable tenure as a board member of The Gardner School from May 2015 to October 2019, contributing to its growth and eventual sale. Previously, Michael served as CEO of CoreCommerce from December 2015 to June 2019, leading a multi-national eCommerce platform that supported numerous clients in online sales. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Rhodes College in 1986.
