David Sun

David Sun is a Senior Executive Vice President of Cathay Financial Holdings and Cathay Life Insurance. In this capacity, he is responsible for a variety of business planning activities and strategic projects. Recently he has been involved in the development of group-wide asset management activities and the establishment of a new Digital, Data and Technology Division. Mr. Sun also serves as Chairman of Cathay Securities Investment Consulting (SICE), and as a Director of Conning Holdings Limited, Cathay United Bank (Cambodia) and Quantifeed Holdings Limited. Prior to joining Cathay Financial Holdings in 2003, Mr. Sun worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley based in New York. He received AB from Harvard College, an MArch from Harvard Graduate School of Design and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
