Don Townswick

Don Townswick, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Don started their career at Rockwell International as a Test Project Engineer in 1987 and then moved on to Douglas Aircraft Inc as an Interiors Stress Engineer from 1989 to 1990. In 1992, they joined INVESCO as a Vice-President, Equity Portfolio Manager, and Quantitative Analyst before transitioning to ING Aeltus in 1994. At ING Aeltus, they served as a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager and Director of Quantitative Research until 2004. Following that, they joined Alpha Equity Management as a Partner and U.S. Equity Long/Short Portfolio Manager from 2004 to 2009. Don then became the Managing Partner at Quantitative Investment Insights, LLC from 2009 to 2012. Don then worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Golden Capital Management from 2012 to 2015. Currently, Don is serving as the Managing Director of Equity Strategies at Conning since April 2015.

Don Townswick, CFA received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1988. Don then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 1990 to 1992. In 1995, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
