Scott Hawkins is a seasoned professional in the field of insurance research, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Insurance Research at Conning since March 2016, after previously holding the position of Director of Insurance Research. Prior to Conning, Scott was Vice President of Insurance Research & Consulting at Conning & Company from April 2006 to April 2022. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Research Fellow at Networks Financial Institute at Indiana State University, where strategic overviews and future research areas were identified, and a Senior Research Fellow at Skandia, providing research on long-term trends in financial services while developing projects for the European Commission. Scott began a career as an Analyst at American Skandia from 1988 to 1995 and holds a degree from Yale.
