Chaohui Chen

Chaohui Chen is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Staff Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips since December 2021, Chaohui specializes in optimizing core trip-out schedules for the Midland Basin. Prior roles include Senior Reservoir Engineer in the Delaware Basin, focusing on optimized development plans and data acquisition strategies. With previous experience at SHELL EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION Company and Shell International Exploration and Production Inc., Chaohui has coordinated reserve bookings, led multi-realization history matching modeling, and actively engaged in field development planning and subsurface data interpretation. Chaohui holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University and Xiamen University, respectively.
