David Wallace

David Wallace is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process safety and facilities engineering, currently serving as the Lower 48 Process Safety Manager at ConocoPhillips since December 2021. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Shell from March 2004 to November 2021, including Surface Engineering Manager and Team Lead Reliability Modeling, overseeing teams focused on production operations and system performance. David's academic experience includes adjunct professor roles at The University of Texas Permian Basin and Tulane University, where responsibilities included course design and student evaluation. David holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from both The University of Texas at Austin and Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a BS in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
