Edwin O., Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist for ConocoPhillips since December 2012, focusing on production prediction through machine learning applications. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist in Advanced Analytics, where Edwin developed predictive tools using deep learning, and Senior Petrophysicist for Argentina Exploration, directing initiatives that combined petrophysics with data science to inform strategic decisions. Edwin also led diverse teams in developing predictive modeling dashboards for the Asia-Pacific and Alaska Regional Exploration.
