James Mathews

James Mathews is currently the Chief Advisor for Federal Government Affairs at ConocoPhillips, a position they have held since 2019. Previously, James had extensive experience in communications and public affairs, including roles as Director of Communications at the Australian Food and Grocery Council and Public Affairs Manager at the Minerals Council of Australia. They also contributed to academia as a Lecturer and Tutor at both Western Sydney University and The Australian National University. James holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from The Australian National University, along with two bachelor's degrees from Western Sydney University.
