Sam Widmer

Sam Widmer has a diverse background in environmental science and regulatory compliance, with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Beginning a career as a Reinsulator at ASRC Energy Services, LLC, from June 2006 to June 2007, Sam specialized in maintaining pipelines in Prudhoe Bay Unit. At ConocoPhillips, from May 2018 to August 2021, Sam held multiple roles, including Sr Regulatory Coordinator, managing compliance with the Texas Railroad Commission and serving as a wildlife subject matter expert. Additional responsibilities included overseeing remediation projects as RM&R Program Manager and handling exploration permitting in both onshore and offshore contexts. From April 2008 to August 2012, Sam worked as an Environmental Scientist at Weston Solutions, Inc., where project management and remediation site supervision were key functions. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mesa State University and Colorado Mesa University, completed between 2004 and 2008.
