Arnold Timmer

Arnold Timmer is a Senior Adviser at Iodine Global Network, where they support activities in South Asia and West Central Africa while helping shape the organization's strategy. Previously, they held key positions in nutrition programming, including Director of Nutrition Programmes at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition from 2015 to 2018, and Chief Nutrition Programme at UNICEF Ethiopia from 2014 to 2015. Arnold’s extensive experience includes roles at UNICEF HQ in New York, the CDC in Atlanta, and the World Health Organization in Sudan, among others. They earned a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum between 1984 and 1990.
