Ashley Long is a hands-on ICT professional with over 10 years of hands-on technical experience and more than 6 years in the self-service and kiosk industry. They have been the Owner of Self Employed since 2018. They previously served as a Senior Field Service Technician at Groeneveld Transport Efficiency from 2006 to 2009, where they designed, fabricated, and installed self-lubrication systems on earth-moving and mining equipment. They joined Laxton Group Limited in 2009 and held multiple roles within the self-service and kiosk industry, including Production Manager (2009–2018) and Sales Executive & Head of Support. They earned Electronics N3, 12 from Rhodesfield Technical (1996–2000).
