Christopher Atchison

Christopher Atchison has extensive experience in public health and public policy, having served as the Director of the Department of Public Health for the State of Iowa from 1991 to 1999. His career includes significant roles such as Executive Director of the Illinois Republican State Committee and Chief of Staff for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois. In academia, Christopher has held positions as Director and Professor Emeritus at the University of Iowa and as Adjunct Faculty at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Additionally, Christopher has contributed to various organizations, including a recent role as a board member for the Public Health Accreditation Board. Christopher's educational background includes a BA in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago and an MPA in Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield.
