DeAnn Sewell

DeAnn Sewell has extensive experience in early childhood education and child care management, serving in various roles since 1986. Currently self-employed as a CLASS Preschool Certified Observer, DeAnn conducts observations of preschool classrooms to identify areas for improvement. As a Path's to QUALITY™ Coach Supervisor and Manager at Huffer Child Care Resource & Referral since 2007, DeAnn provides technical assistance to child care providers focused on quality improvement. Additional roles include CDA Professional Development Specialist for the CDA Council for Professional Recognition and NAFCC Accreditation Observer for the National Association for Family Child Care. Previous experience includes ownership of DeAnn's Love to Learn Childcare and administrative positions at Small World Daycare and Wee Care Child Care. DeAnn holds an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from Walden University.
