Delia Cerpa is an author, speaker, storyteller, and educational consultant who has been an author since 2017, is founder of Delia Cerpa Educational Consultants (2011–present), and serves as an educational leadership consultant at Delia V. Cerpa Educational Consultants and Associates (2012–present). Their writing includes "Queen of the Flowers: Memories of A Puerto Rican Girl," and they earned a B.S. in Psychology and Education from Hunter College (1972–1974), an M.S. in Teacher Education from Bank Street College (1974–1978), pursued M.Ed. and doctoral studies in Special Education and International Development Education at Teachers College, Columbia University and Bank Street (1981–1987), and earned an associate's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (1965–1967).
