Fred Widerick

Fred Widerick is an experienced Occupational Safety Consultant with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. Since September 2009, Fred has been self-employed, providing expertise in occupational safety. Prior to this, Fred held positions at ITML Horticultural Products Inc. as a Machinist and later as a Health & Safety Coordinator, where responsibilities included advising on health and safety compliance and training staff on equipment safety. Fred also contributes to academia as a Professor at Conestoga College, School of Business since August 2018. Educational qualifications include a certification in Accident Investigation Safety Audit from North Carolina State University, an Honours degree in Occupational Health & Safety from Conestoga College, a certificate in Civil Litigation from Mohawk College, and a certificate in Labour Studies from McMaster University.
