Gerald Liu

Gerald Liu is a skilled violist with extensive experience in chamber music, orchestral performances, and solo repertoire. Gerald has been self-employed as a violist since January 2021 and as a viola instructor since December 2017. Previously, Gerald worked as a sales associate at Terra Nova Violins from May 2016 to May 2017, where responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations, optimizing workflow, and assisting customers with instrument sales, rentals, and repairs, showcasing familiarity with both acoustic and aesthetic properties of stringed instruments. Gerald earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016 and a Master of Music in Viola Performance with a 4.0 GPA from the same institution in 2022.
