John Cavin is an expert witness and consultant with extensive training in mediation, amassing 20 years of experience in resolving business and real estate disputes. Having served as Division Counsel at Transamerica & Commonwealth Title Insurance Companies and as a partner at Bardellini, Straw, Cavin & Bupp, LLP, Cavin has been recognized as a court-qualified expert in State and Federal Courts throughout California. Cavin also held leadership positions such as Chairperson of the Contra Costa County Bar Association's ADR Section and Board Member for various organizations, including the California Wild Sheep Foundation. Currently, Cavin focuses on consulting and expert witness work after over 40 years in law practice. Cavin earned a BA in Political Science from Cal State University at Long Beach and a JD from Pepperdine Law.
