Joseph Dasta is a Professor Emeritus at The Ohio State University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas. They received a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from West Virginia University in 1974 and an M.Sc. along with a residency in Hospital Pharmacy from OSU in 1976. They began their academic career at OSU, establishing one of the first practices and post-doctoral residency and fellowship programs in critical care pharmacy, training numerous residents and fellows who have become prominent in their fields. Currently, Joseph serves as a health-care consultant specializing in acute care pharmaceuticals and health economics, with over 300 peer-reviewed publications to their name.
