Lars Gunnar Marklund

Lars Gunnar Marklund is an Independent Consultant who has been self-employed since 2018. Prior to this, Lars served as a Forestry Officer at the FAO from 2009 to 2018, where responsibilities included managing forestry programs in Central America and overseeing the Global Forest Resources Assessment Programme. Lars holds both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Forestry from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, earned between 1976 and 1987.
