Michael Owen has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and environmental consulting. Owen served as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Solar Sources, Inc. from 1992 until April 2017, and then held the same title at Solar Sources Mining, LLC from April 2017 to August 2018. Responsibilities included overseeing the engineering department, CAD mapping, geologic modeling, and environmental permit acquisition and administration. Since August 2018, Owen has been working as a self-employed environmental consultant. Educational credentials include an Associate of Applied Science in Reclamation Technology from the University of Kentucky and Madisonville Community College, obtained between 1976 and 1979.
