Rick Bodnar is a skilled metallurgical engineering consultant with extensive experience in the steel industry. Currently self-employed and providing consultation to SSAB, Rick specializes in the development of steel plates for various applications and offers expertise in numerous metallurgical processes. Previously, Rick held roles at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, including Senior Research Engineer and Research Supervisor, and served as Director of Research & Development at SSAB Americas. Additionally, Rick has experience in academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa. Rick holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Metallurgy and Materials Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's in Physics from Muhlenberg College.
