Rick Raemisch is a retired Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Corrections, where they led the agency as a cabinet member under Governor John Hickenlooper from 2013 to 2019. With a career spanning several roles in law enforcement and corrections, Rick served as a Deputy/Detective at the Dane County Sheriff's Office and held positions as Assistant U.S. Attorney and Cabinet Secretary for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. In addition to their extensive experience in corrections, Rick is currently self-employed as an Executive Consultant and has participated in numerous national and international discussions on corrections policies. They hold a BS and JD with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and UW Madison Law School.
