Shelly Stratton

Shelly Stratton is a Child and Family Therapist with extensive experience in supporting families and communities, particularly within East African immigrant populations. Currently serving as the Senior Director at CAIRO, a community-based organization led by Somali leaders, Shelly focuses on strategic planning and partnership development to enhance resilience and promote cultural empowerment. With a background in various therapeutic modalities, Shelly has worked in multiple roles, including child advocacy, program management, and independent consulting, all aimed at fostering positive familial and community dynamics. Educated at Pacific Oaks College and the University of Washington, Shelly is also pursuing a PhD in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, further integrating social justice perspectives into therapeutic practices.
