Stacey Thompson is a seasoned playwright, director, actor, and acting coach with over two decades of experience in the performing arts and workforce development. Currently self-employed, Stacey engages audiences through character development and storytelling. As the Director of Workforce Learning and Development at Lowell Community Health Center, Stacey led training initiatives and safeguarded legacy programs. Stacey served on the Lowell School Board, becoming the first woman of color and first Black person elected in the municipality, actively participating in policy decisions and fostering community relationships. Previous roles include facilitating workshops at MassHire Lowell Career Center and providing GED instruction and career development at Catholic Charities and Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Pre-Law from Boston College.
