Uta Bellion

Uta Bellion is a Senior Strategy Consultant with over 30 years of experience in conservation advocacy and communications. They held pivotal roles at Greenpeace International from 1986 to 2006, leading international environmental campaigns and achieving significant victories in climate change, energy, and toxic waste issues. Uta served as the European Coordinator for the Shark Alliance from 2006 to 2013, where they successfully advanced shark conservation policies within the EU. They also led the European Marine Programme at The Pew Charitable Trusts from 2006 to 2017, and currently, Uta applies their extensive strategic and project management skills in their consulting work. Uta earned a Dipl.-Ing. in Civil Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 1981.
